Options and data fidelity
Auto-detect reads $schema and defaults to 2020-12. Draft 7 and 2019-09 are also available. Local $ref is supported; remote schemas are never fetched. Format checks can be toggled.

No defaults are inserted and no types are coerced or properties removed. Unsafe numeric values are rejected before validation. A valid result applies only to this data and the selected Schema settings.
