JSON to YAML
Convert JSON to readable YAML without rounding numbers.
Comparison, parsing and formatting run in your browser. Your input is not sent to DevToolsy.
How it works
Objects become YAML mappings and arrays become sequences. Strings are quoted to prevent accidental interpretation as booleans or numbers. Choose an indentation size, then copy or download the YAML.

Options and data fidelity
Exact numeric tokens are preserved. JSON comments and duplicate keys are rejected. JSON has no comments or anchors to carry into the YAML result.
Working with the result
Files are read as UTF-8 text. The editors provide search, selection copying and keyboard shortcuts. Results can be copied or downloaded; changing the input invalidates the previous result.
UTF-8 input up to 1 MiB per document; output up to 8 MiB. Tasks run in a local worker with a 30-second time limit.
