How to use

  1. Set the inclusive minimum, maximum, and quantity.
  2. Choose whether to allow duplicates, then generate.
  3. Copy the numbers or download the list in your preferred format.

Generating random integer lists

Generate random whole numbers for fixtures, simulations, and everyday test data. Both endpoints are included in the range.

The tool uses Web Crypto and integer rejection sampling. Arithmetic uses BigInt so values remain exact throughout the signed 64-bit range.

A range with inclusive endpoints

With a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10, every integer from 1 through 10 can be selected. The example is illustrative; a fresh run produces a new list.

min = 1; max = 10; count = 3; unique = true
Example output
2
8
5

Three distinct integers drawn from the inclusive range 1–10.

Duplicates and sorting

Repeated values are allowed by default. No-repeat mode samples without replacement and requires enough distinct values for the requested quantity. Sorting changes the display order, not which values were drawn.

Exact values in exports

Plain text and CSV preserve every digit. JSON exports numeric literals; consumers that parse them as floating-point numbers may lose precision beyond their safe integer range. No decimals or seeded, repeatable sequences are provided.

Processing limits

Up to 1,000 values per batch. Nano IDs support lengths from 1 to 128 and 1–94 distinct printable ASCII characters. Integers use the signed 64-bit range. Generation runs locally, with a 10-second time limit.

Frequently asked questions

Are the minimum and maximum included?

Yes. Both endpoints are eligible for selection.

Can I generate negative numbers?

Yes, within −9223372036854775808 to 9223372036854775807.

What happens if the range is too small for no repeats?

The tool shows an error. Reduce the quantity or allow duplicates.

Does sorting make the result less random?

Sorting only rearranges the chosen values. It does not draw a different batch.

Can I reproduce a list with a seed?

No. Each run uses fresh cryptographic randomness; there is no seed setting.
