JSON Diff
Compare JSON structures and locate added, removed or changed values.
Comparison, parsing and formatting run in your browser. Your input is not sent to DevToolsy.
How it works
Object keys are compared by name, while arrays are compared by index. Formatting and key order do not count as changes. Numeric values are compared exactly, including large IDs and equivalent forms such as 1 and 1.0.
{"enabled":false}{"enabled":true}Compare JSON structures and locate added, removed or changed values.
Options and data fidelity
Strings are case-sensitive. Duplicate object keys are rejected to avoid an ambiguous comparison. Select a changed JSON Pointer path to locate its value in the editors.
Working with the result
Files are read as UTF-8 text. The editors provide search, selection copying and keyboard shortcuts. Results can be copied or downloaded; changing the input invalidates the previous result.
UTF-8 input up to 1 MiB per document; output up to 8 MiB. Tasks run in a local worker with a 30-second time limit.
